Raw Mince and E.coli bacteria

I ordered a Kiwi Burger at the Occidental tavern in Wellington. The mince was all raw on the inside. The staff were good to me when I took it back. BUT - E.coli bacteria (O157:H7) -ex undercooked mince meat. E.coli (STEC) Bacteria -ex undercooked mince meat. Salmonella Bacteria - ex raw meat

Purchased dining table Saturday before easter and paid cash, hubby called and collected the table thursday before easter. Unfortunately upon unpacking at home found a large scratch mark on table top. So I phoned sales assistant first thing Saturday morning due to easter Friday, stated we still had a trailor(borrowed from hubbys work) at home and we could return the table for a replacement, we needed the table for a large family get together over easter. However the sales assistant said nothing could be done until Tuesday when the person in charge of returns would phone. Frustrated but having no choice waited until tuesday, I received no call on Tuesday so eventually phoned 4pm Tuesday afternoon to speak with sales assistant. I was told that they were so busy due to Easter, and I would get a call eventually. I finally received a phone call 10pm Wednesday morning from Glen stating there was a replacement table and the scratched table would be picked up and returned and the replacement table delivered. They would phone that day before delivery. I waited for the rest of the day and no call, eventually at 4pm that same day I received another phone call from Glen stating there was a replacement table at the warehouse. Confused! (I knew this he had already told me that day,,,I told him I was still waiting for it be delivered. This is where he became rather rude and said that I was getting good service considering it had been Easter. He couldn't confirm when delivery would be and when I asked to speak to a person in charge he told me he was the person in charge to speak to. I told him I was unhappy with confusing service. I later phoned to speak with the Manager of the funrniture department a woman called Carla, when I tried to explain my frustration she became really rude said I was getting great service considering it had been Easter. She didn't even ask my name, what I had purchased or when and wouldn't even listen to my complaint.(This table had been bought, paid for and picked up before Easter) She actually hung the phone up on me when I became annoyed and frustrated with her when she wouldn't even stop to listen . I had been waiting all day for what I was lead to beleive would lead to be a dlivery and pick up that day. She couldn't tell me when I could expect delivery and pick up. Surely a simple phone call to the warehouse could have answered my query. I am really shocked with the way these so called employees spoke to me, and if this is the way the Manager of the furniture department deals with customer complaints I most certainly will never be returning to Harvey Normans to shop again.

If you think Telecom canget it wrong read on,For purely economic reasons We (Wife and I) decided to switch our phones(landline&mobile)and internet to Vodafoneand all hell broke loose firstly they left us without phones or internet for 3 days fortunatly we still had our mobiles and Balclutha has an internetcafe, So although inconveniant we got through it and Vodafone finally got their act together on the 4th day After some heated phone cals to their call centre.And our new cell phones arrived. All went well for 3 months Then because of work we shifted to Alexandra, we gave Vodafone 3 weeks notice of the move, Plenty of time considering we were to that they only needed 5 days notice. After a week my wife tried to find out what our new number would be,And was tod if she rang back in 3 days they would that info.3 days later she rang and was told to call back in 2 days . we finally got our new number the day before the move. I have to admit the phone was conected when we moved to our new house. BUTand it is a big BUT a couple of days later we get a nasty txt saying All services would be cutoff if we didn't pay our bill So I called Vodafone NZ and after waiting 20 mins on hold I finally spoke to some one .with all the personality of a brick , After a sort discussion I told the girl I would pay half this week and the rest the following week No problem was the response.That Night I payed the promised amount via internet banking. The next day I get another txt from vodafone same as before, I should mention this was a week before the original bill was due,So again I call Vodafone NZ and again I wait for 20-30 mins on hold, I finally get through and I ask what's going on and I'm told I haven't paid any thing So with steam rising from my collar I Quote payment details that you get from your bank including Acc No Ref No and amount paid and I'm told they can't see it on their system I offered to send via e-mai a copy of the receipt "that wont be neccessary we'll sort it for you" I'm told. the very next day yet another txt arrives "your service will be cut off at 5pm today "So yet again I rang Vodafone NZ and an even longer wait on hold This time I wanted to talk to some body in charge after an hour of getting passed around the call centre I gave up and called head office in Wellington and got passed back to the call centre , So after explaining my problem to the girl I'm told she will try and find out what is going on and ring me back within the hour .I'm still waiting for that call!! 4hrs later I rang again and waited again .and after another 30mins of trying to find out what was going on I finally ost it and told Vodafone NZ exactly where they could stick their account An hour later the phones went dead. It seems they can move when THEY want to! And we went back to Telecom . I' sent several e-mais to Vodafone NZ asking for an explination, Like the afor mentioned phone cal I'm still waiting. Telecom may not be the best with break down and all but at least they admit it and say sorry we screwed up, you don't get that from Vodafone NZ

Factory farmed Cows

I can't believe the National party are entertaining the idea of bringing cow stalls to New Zealand. Thats just totally backward. Most New Zealanders want them to ban sow crates, but not only are they just pretending to change that law, they are thinking about bringing in the same situation for our NZ cows!

Where is the democracy in this country??

Customer service and website terrible

I purchased tickets online a couple days ago and have had a hell of a time trying to contact a single human being regarding refunds. I accidentally purchased tickets in the third row from the screen, which nobody would intentionally do. The online seating charts are horrible as well, and are upside-down compared to the seating charts when you actually buy tickets at the counter in the cinema.

I get horrible migraines, and am not willing to pay $36 for a migraine. I called the number listed for the Sylvia Park Cinema yesterday, keyed in the extension for customer service, and got an answering machine. I called five times today, and got the answering machine. I finally called the national office and got a response; the guy couldn't do anything, but could get somebody who could do something to contact me. She called me while my phone was dead and claimed in her message that she wanted to help me with the refund. I ended up calling her back several times over the past couple days, and she didn't answer. This added up to $20 in phone bills.

This was for the movie New Moon, and the seats are rapidly disappearing. I will not buy new seats until I have my refund, which has proven to require the most incredible bureaucratic waste of time I have ever experienced (and I'm from the United States).

The website has a no refund policy, which is outrageous. They charge an extra $1 for each ticket, even though you're saving them money by buying tickets online! And on top of that, no matter what, it is impossible to get any assistance from them.

TradeMe is being nonsense

Earlier this year, TradeMe has banned my sister's account due to logging in from oversea, her jobs require to travel frequently. Even after explaining the reason, TradeMe still insist to ban my sister's account.

And so after awhile, our mother opened an account and we only log in locally and it was operating perfectly for half year and she got 100% good feedback from over 200 trades.

Recently my sister re-opened an account but somehow TradeMe found out that she has been banned before and so they decided to also ban her new account.

Since my mum's account shared the same address. And TradeMe also banned my mum's account an the reason given is relation with my sister's account and they suspected the same person is using both account.

Somehow TradeMe also managed to ban our friend's account as well since they helped us to sell some of our items.

I found what TradeMe has done was totally nonsense and unreasonable, first of all I do not think my sister deserved a permanent ban as her job requires her to travel and we did not cheat any traders in our trade.

Needless to mention that TradeMe were taking the money we have put into our account and not refunding them, they have also made a lot of money from charging their customer for telephone support.

I am very depressed where they did not just banned a whole family but also our friends who helped us.

I agreed that TradeMe has to be strict in order to protect their users and in order to maintain a safe online trading environment. But I think what TradeMe has overdone their job sometimes which affect a lot of innocent customers.
